​Susan began her writing career in the 9th grade. Her first book was a crime thriller entitled Trusted Enemy. Susan's mom printed out the thirty pages and put them in a binder. She still has that first little book to this day!

 

Now, Susan writes young adult and new adult fantasy romance adventures with twists of political intrigue. Her books are clean reads, free of language and sex scenes.

In addition to being a writer, Susan is also a musician. As a 29-year veteran of the piano, Susan has composed a number of pieces, some of which are inspired by the characters and settings in her novels.

 

Originally from Utah, she has lived all over the United States with her husband and four children. When she's not writing, she's singing at the top of her lungs, eating a good piece of cake, and then exercising to work it all off.
